Veterinary Technician
Brecca is a dedicated veterinary technician with Vance Veterinary Mobile Services. Before joining the mobile team, she spent several years working in a traditional clinic setting, where she developed strong technical skills, deep compassion for patients, and a talent for keeping operations running smoothly.
In her role, Brecca blends her clinical expertise with her natural leadership and organizational abilities, ensuring that each mobile appointment runs efficiently and with care. She takes pride in providing personalized, fear-free veterinary experiences, helping every pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Known for her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail, Brecca brings both skill and heart to every visit.
Animal care isn’t just her career — it’s an essential part of her life. At home, she tends to a small menagerie that includes chickens, cows, pigs, rabbits, cats, and dogs. Among them, her heart dog Barkley holds a special place, reminding her daily of the joy and purpose that come from dedicating her life to the well-being of animals.

With 16 years in the veterinary field and a degree in Veterinary Technology from Saint Pete College she’s got the skills, the passion, and the dedication to make a difference in the lives of pets and their people.
Jessica’s superpower? Animal behavior and enrichment! She believes in bridging the communication gap between humans and their fur babies to ensure the best life possible. (Basically, she’s like a pet whisperer!)
When she’s not rocking scrubs, she’s rocking the karaoke mic! If you ever need a vet tech AND a backup singer, she’s your girl.

Dr. Candice Vance is a licensed veterinarian who has been serving central Florida and more specifically The Villages Area for the last 17 years. Dr. Vance graduated from The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 Cum Laude. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association as well as being certified as a Fear Free Professional and Cat Friendly Veterinarian. Through the years Dr. Vance has focused on her interests by seeking additional training in the areas of Ultrasound, Internal medicine and Dermatology. She grew up in Dade City, Florida and attended Saint Leo University for her bachelor’s degree. While at Saint Leo, she met her husband, Barry who currently works as President/Senior Scientist for Water and Air research in Gainesville, FLorida. Barry and Candice are the proud parents of their daughter Lola. The Vance’s have had many cherished pets together through the years, and currently have a Golden Retriever Leo “Dibarkio” and a cat Katy “Purry”. As a family the “Vances” have worked hard to serve in careers that help others whether it is a beloved furry family member or the Florida environment in which we live. Dr. Vance started Vance Veterinary as an extension to her long career as an associate veterinarian at Mulberry Grove Animal Hospital. Her training through the years at a hospital whose focus was always on providing the highest quality of care, while maintaining a focus on a stress free experience led her to a passion for house call veterinary work. Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Vance’s close relationship with her grandparents growing up guided her to a place where serving that generation with empathy, respect and a general interest in their lives and experiences has made for the development of strong bonds with her clients that will no doubt serve as a guiding purpose to her work. Serving people, caring for animals and creating a family like atmosphere is at the heart of her mission in creating this practice. Client education and communication so that pet parents feel comfortable in the understanding of their pet’s care in the stress free environment of their own home will be one of Vance Veterinary’s core values, along with building lasting relationships with pets and people alike.
